Pasta With Crab Sauce

Pasta with crab sauce the quick and easy way.

This is a recipe for a very quick and simple crab sauce that can be made with real or mock crab.

By using mock crab, you can make this delicious sauce at any time you want. You don't have to have a source of fresh crabs and, even if you do have a source, you don't have to spend time getting them. Just take some frozen mock crab sticks from your freezer and you are set to go.

Making the sauce is simple.

Add a can of tomatoes to a sauce pan. To that two crushed cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, basil and simmer for about a half hour.

Cut frozen crab sticks into bite sized pieces and add to the sauce. Simmer for another 15 minutes or so.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over pasta.

And if you like pizza that is a little different, use it as a pizza sauce. Use it just as it is or top it with some cheese.

The sauce freezes well so there is nothing to stop you from making some in advance and keeping it on hand for that last minute need. Just pop it into the microwave and you have a distinctive crab sauce.
