This recipe for Italian bread crumbs can be used in many dishes. Once you try it, it is not likely that you will use anything else.

The batch size here makes enough for making cutlets from about 8 chicken breasts. It is large because it is easiest to mix and get the right flavor. And it is easily stored in the freezer for use as you wish.

If you use Italian seasoning rather than the spices that we recommend, you can easily make a smaller batch.

Put 1.5 liters of bread crumbs in a food processor. Add two cloves of fresh, crushed garlic and 100 grams of romano cheese.

Add two tablespoons of dried parsley flakes.

Add italian seasoning, or if you don't have it, 1 teaspoon crushed sage, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon crushed rosemary.

Blend it thoroughly.

Store it in your refrigerator or freezer.

Use it on chicken cutlets, fish, eggplant, zucchini, pork cutlets and anything else that needs bread crumbs.

These crumbs make on of the best Italian chicken cutlets that you ever had. The recipe is here. Italian Chicken Cutlets.
